In addition to these conventional practices, we have also seen that since the grinding rolls always work in a high-dust chamber, the pulverized coal will always enter the bearing cavity more or less, if the bearing itself can be improved in anti-abrasive wear performance. It will also extend the life cycle of the bearing in this part.

Reliable products are derived from reliable materials. The purity of the steel used in the bearing, the heat treatment process, etc. will affect the wear resistance of the bearing. Bearings with better steel purity have less impurities. In the case of abrasive friction, the weaker points on the surface are less, and the bearings are less likely to be damaged. In addition, the heat treatment process ensures sufficient bearing surface hardness and also makes the bearing more wear resistant. However, if a carburized bearing is used, the surface has a certain degree of compressive stress, and the effect against abrasive wear is also remarkable.

The combination of coating technology and surface treatment technology can reduce the influence of abrasive particles, which can significantly improve bearing life and extend maintenance intervals.
