Water-air alternating quenching application example
The large-diameter alloy steel parts are quenched and tempered, and the water quenching is replaced by alternate quenching of water, no environmental pollution, low production cost, and the metallographic structure and mechanical properties of the parts are superior to oil quenching.
1. Parts introduction
Our company is a kind of chain part 0A21074 half shaft, the material is 42CrMo, technical requirements: quenching and tempering treatment, hardness 269~321HBW, the structure of the parts is shown in Figure 1.
The weight of the part is 120kg, the maximum diameter is 145mm, and the annual dosage is about 3000. The original process plan is shown in Figure 2. The hardness after heat treatment is 277~285HBW. The quality of the parts is stable and reliable, and there is no quality problem.
