Spot rubber prices in Asia rise and fall, Thailand trade slows

Wenhua Finance (Compiled by Wang Lijun) - According to news from Singapore on February 24th, Asian spot rubber prices were mixed on Friday. Thai exporters said that the transaction slowed down and the transaction became difficult due to the strong Thai baht.

Indonesia's STR20 grade rubber for April shipment was US$3,820/ton, FOB benchmark.

Malaysia's SMR20 grade rubber for April shipments was US$3,850/ton, FOB benchmark.

Shipments of Thailand's No. 3 smoke tablet rubber RSS3 reported in March/April were 403-417 cents per kilogram, compared with 403-415 cents per kilo in the previous trading day.

In March/April, Thailand's tire grade standard STR20 was reported at 386-397 cents per kilogram, compared with 385-395 cents per kilogram in the previous trading day.

In April/May, Indonesia's tire grade standard rubber SIR20 was reported at 382-386 cents per kilogram, compared with 382-384 cents per kilogram in the previous trading day.

In April/May, the shipment of Malaysian tire grade standard SMR20 was reported at 385 cents per kilogram, compared with 388 cents per kilogram in the previous trading day.
