The forecast of the Shaanxi Provincial Meteorological Observatory is affected by the southwest warm and humid airflow and the cold air. From the 25th to the 28th, there is a relatively obvious rain (snow) weather process in the province. The main precipitation period appeared around the 26th, and the rains in northern Shaanxi and northern Guanzhong turned to sleet or medium snow. There were small to moderate rain or sleet in the south of Guanzhong and western Shaanxi, and moderate rain in the eastern part of southern Shaanxi. There is heavy snow in parts of the mountainous area.
It is estimated that the precipitation in the northern Shaanxi process is 2 to 10 mm; in Guanzhong, it is 3 to 15 mm; in southern Shaanxi, it is 5 to 20 mm, and in the eastern part, it is 20 to 25 mm. After the rain and snow, the snow depth in the northern mountainous areas and the Qinling Mountains can reach 0 to 5 cm.
At the same time, affected by cold air, from the 25th to the 26th, most parts of the province have 4 to 5 easterly winds, and the temperature will generally drop by 6-8 °C.
The precipitation is beneficial to the easing of drought in some areas. The artificially affected departments of Shaanxi Province will seize all favorable opportunities to organize the implementation of ground-based high-altitude artillery and rocket-enhanced rain (snow) operations.
