New legal inspection catalogue commodity transition period is extended for another half year

The reporter learned from the Zhongshan Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that the AQSIQ decided to extend the transitional policy for the third time on January 1, 2009, to add a new legal inspection catalogue or to supplement the import and export customs supervision conditions. The transition period is from January 1, 2010 to June 30, 2010. Zhongshan Inspection and Quarantine Bureau expects that this measure can save 10 million yuan for Zhongshan enterprises.
In light of China's foreign trade situation and taking into account the needs of enterprises, this is the third time that the AQSIQ has extended the transition period by another half year. In December 2008, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the General Administration of Customs jointly adjusted the implementation of the entry-exit inspection and quarantine institutions. Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Entry and Exit Commodities Catalogue, part of tobacco substitutes, chemical products that can be used for food additives, daily necessities, infant and child clothing, shirts, pajamas, swimwear, household appliances, sanitary appliances, etc. Check the catalogue or add the import and export customs supervision conditions, involving 354 kinds of commodities; transfer the primary textiles, mineral products, stone materials, industrial raw materials, leather products, hardware tools, small household electrical appliances, some stone materials, etc. ", involving 640 kinds of goods.
