The graphite of this ore is small, the surface is earthy, has no luster, and the industrial performance is not very good. However, the ore grade of this graphite ore is relatively high, generally 60% to 80%, but its buoyancy is poor. After flotation, the grade will not be significantly improved. Therefore, the original ore with a grade of less than 65% is generally not mined. Grades between 65% and 80% can be used after sorting. Flake graphite ore is characterized by graphite scales or leaves, the ore grade is not high, generally 3% to 5%, the highest not more than 20% to 25%. This type of graphite has good floatability. After flotation, the grade can reach more than 90%. Therefore, the original ore grade can be mined from 2% to 3%. Flake graphite has excellent properties and can generally be used to make advanced carbon products. Therefore, for different graphite ores, we can not only look at the level of the original ore, but also to understand its type, and then decide whether to use the flotation method.
