French domestic brand car sales are still very unsatisfactory, and total sales in August fell by 9.7% compared with the same period last year. Among them, Renault Group's new home car sales fell by 4%, market share fell to 19.4%; Peugeot-Citroé¾™n Group's sales fell by 13.4%, market share fell to 26.6%.

Foreign-brand cars continue to expand steadily in the French home new car market, with total sales in August up 4.9% year-on-year. Among them, BMW's sales in August increased by 43.1%, and sales of GM, Nissan and Ford also increased significantly. Hyundai has the worst performance among foreign brands, with sales falling by 23.1% year-on-year in August.
