Two new achievements of Shandong Textile Institute passed the appraisal

On December 20th, the independently researched and developed liquid slipper penetration comprehensive performance tester and automotive interior material melting performance tester of Shandong Academy of Textile Science passed the Academician Mei Ziqiang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and China Textile Institute, Qingdao University, and Shandong Province. Scientific and technological achievements appraisal of the appraisal committee composed of experts from industry circles such as Science and Technology University, Shandong Commodity Inspection Bureau Test Center, and Qingdao Textile Corporation. The appraisal committee believes that the overall performance of the two instruments has reached the advanced level of similar international instruments.

The appraisal committee believes that the testing principle of liquid slippery penetrating comprehensive performance tester is scientific and reasonable and has a high degree of automation. The instrument uses computer technology to fully automate the test process. This project has filled the gaps in the country, has a wide range of applications and has great market potential.

The automotive interior material melting performance tester is applicable to the determination of the melting properties of various types of textile materials under specific high-temperature infrared radiation heat source conditions and meets the requirements of European Union 95/28/EC ANNEXV. The instrument uses advanced numerical control technology and adjustable power heat sources to improve the test accuracy. This project fills the domestic gap and lays the foundation for the formulation of corresponding domestic standards.
