Short section round steel shear die design
Short section round steel is the component used in the conventional boiler products of Harbin Boiler Factory Co., Ltd. for retaining pipe clamps on the pipe screen. The number of each product is tens of thousands. Because the round steel in a project is different from the specifications of the conventional products, the original mold structure is no longer applicable, and the mold needs to be innovatively designed. The part size is φ 12mm, which is thicker and shorter than conventional parts. The material is the same as ordinary carbon steel. The welding position of the round steel is shown in Figure 1.
1. The shortcomings of the original round steel shear die
In general boiler products, round steel is f 5mm or f 6mm, and most of the length is more than 50mm, and the minimum length can also reach 25mm, which can be cut according to the structure shown in Figure 2. However, this set of molds is not suitable for the shearing of this short section of steel, mainly has the following disadvantages: 1 the original mold's moving, fixed blade and shear-related parts are not designed with a groove type, cut out The surface of the round steel is not flat, which affects the quality of use during welding. 2 The thickness of the movable and fixed blades is at least 25mm. If the round steel with a length of 12mm is to be cut, interference will occur and the cutting cannot be completed. 3 The gap between the moving and fixed blades of the original mold is relatively large, which is also an important factor that causes the surface of the round steel to be uneven. Therefore, based on the above shortcomings, we need to innovate the design and redesign and manufacture a set of shearing molds to meet the process size requirements.
2. New round steel shearing die structure and working process
Figure 3 shows the innovative structure of the round steel cutting die. The die is guided by the guide column. The pressing method is elastic pressing. The round steel fixing method is elastic positioning. The moving and fixed blades are grooved and cut once. The method is to cut the round steel.
Working process: Firstly, according to the design pattern, the shear length of the f 12mm round steel is 12mm, the adjustment block 11 is adjusted; after the position of the positioning device is determined, the round steel is placed in the groove shape of the fixed blade (see the top view in Fig. 4). Show), turn on the device and cut the round steel.
The mold is suitable for round steel shear length of 12 ~ 100mm, according to different length adjustment of the pressure plate, fixed blade, lower die base, fixed blade seat and positioning plate and other positioning devices, the rest of the parts do not move (see Figure 2) The operation is simple and convenient.
