Production technology of wheat straw ammoniated feed

After harvesting wheat every year, a large amount of straw is produced. After the straw is ammoniated, it can be used to feed cattle and sheep. The widely used methods mainly include: stacking method, crucible method, ammoniating tank method and ammoniating bag method. Here we mainly introduce the latter two ammoniation methods.

1. Ammoniaization tank ammonia method The specific method is as follows: (1) Select a sunny ammonia tank with erectile leeward, leeward, high terrain, hard soil, low groundwater level and easy to make, feed and manage. The shape of the pool can be rectangular or circular. The size and capacity of the pond depends on the amount of ammoniated straw, and the amount of ammoniated straw is determined by the type and amount of livestock. Generally, about 100 kilograms of chopped air-dried straw can be placed per cubic meter of pool. A cow weighing 200 kilograms needs 1.5 to 2.0 tons of ammoniated straw per year. After digging the pool, use brick or stone to lay the bottom, build the four walls, and cement the surface. (2) The straw is pulverized or cut into small pieces of 1.5 to 2.0 cm. (3) 3% to 5% of urea is formulated into a solution with warm water. The warm water depends on the water content of the straw. Generally, the water content of the straw is 12%, and about 30 kg per 100 kg of straw is added. (4) Sprinkle the prepared urea solution evenly on the straw, stir it while sprinkling, or evenly spray a layer of urea solution on the straw, and install it while pressing. (5) After filling, cover the mouth of the pool with a plastic film and seal it with soil.

2. Plastic bag ammoniating method Plastic bags are generally 2.5 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. The requirements for plastic bags are non-toxic polyethylene film with a thickness of 0.12 mm or more. It is best to use double-layer plastic bags. The cut straw is uniformly sprayed with the prepared urea aqueous solution (equivalent to 4% to 5% of the urea of the straw air-drying quality in 40% to 50% of the straw quality), filled with plastic bags, sealed The mouth of the bag is placed in a dry place in the sun. During storage, it should be checked frequently. If there is ammonia smell at the mouth of the bag, it should be tightened again. If the plastic bag is damaged, it should be sealed with tape in time.

After the straw is ammoniated for a certain period of time, it can be used for feeding. The length of the ammoniation time depends on the temperature. The temperature is 20 ~ 30 ° C, it takes 7 to 14 days, the temperature is higher than 30 ° C, only 5 to 7 days. The ammoniated straw is to be quality certified before feeding the livestock. Generally, the ammoniated straw should be apricot yellow, with a scent and a pungent ammonia smell. If most of the ammoniated straw is found to be moldy, it cannot be used to feed livestock.
