Shen Danyang said that the total import and export volume of China and the EU in July was about 48 billion U.S. dollars, down 8.9% year-on-year. Among them, China’s exports to the EU were 29.37 billion U.S. dollars, down 16.6%. In the same period, China’s average export growth rate to other regions outside the EU is still around 5.5%. The situation of EU exports is not optimistic. Although it is estimated, the European debt crisis has further developed and upgraded and has deteriorated, and the import demand of EU countries has dropped sharply, which is beyond the prejudgment of many experts. While the European debt crisis caused the European economy to fall into recession, it directly reduced the import demand of European countries, and the emerging economies including China were the first to be affected. The EU is China's largest trading partner. Since the beginning of this year, the trade volume between China and the EU has fallen sharply, and it has become the first factor affecting the overall growth rate of China's exports.
