Chuanqing Drilling Fluid Company's three core technologies to help make breakthroughs in exploration
On January 28th, Li Maosen, a secondary technical expert at Chuanqing Drilling, was awarded the Lamor Medal. The team he led helped Gaochao 1 well to obtain high-yield oil flow. This is the third time that the Sichuan Drilling Fluid has helped the Xinjiang Oilfield to achieve a major breakthrough in exploration.
In 2014, Chuanqing Drilling Fluid assisted Huo 101 well to cross the “Death Sea†Anjihaihe Formation in only 6.9 days. In 2017, Chuanqing drilling fluid assisted the Huo 11 well for the first time to reach the depth of 5170 meters in the Xiadonggou Formation. For the first time, the different pressure gradients in the structure were realized as “sets†to achieve a second breakthrough in the construction.
In 2018, Chuanqing Drilling Fluid Service Gaochao 1 well drilled for the first time in the Tuohehe Formation, obtaining more than 700 meters of exploration data for the first time and obtaining high-yield oil flow.

The drilling construction in this area has been transformed from 'playing' to 'playing fast and playing well'.†Li Maosen, a secondary technical expert at Chuanqing Company, said, “Independent R&D The ultra-high-density and strong-blocking oil-based drilling fluid features oil and gas layer protection technology. After indoor laboratory evaluation, it can effectively prevent the pollution and damage of the drilling fluid to the oil and gas layer."
