The seawater intrusion automatic monitoring system was officially put into use in Weihai City, Shandong Province. This is the first monitoring system in China that conducts dynamic and automatic monitoring of seawater intrusion and groundwater resource water level and water quality.
The seawater intrusion automatic monitoring system project officially settled in the urban area of ​​the city belongs to the “Shandong Water Conservancy Modernization Demonstration Project”. It was built by the water conservancy departments at all levels with an investment of 1 million yuan in December 2004. It has been officially completed in nearly 8 months. Put into use.
This system adopts domestic advanced water level telemetry, automatic water quality monitoring, ground geophysical exploration and other technologies. 50 observation wells are set up in the urban area, and comprehensive water condition monitoring such as brackish water interface, groundwater level and water quality is implemented in the seawater susceptible area. . The monitoring system can accurately predict the intrusion dynamics of seawater, and can also simulate the seawater intrusion treatment project with high resolution, large depth of detection and rich information.
