China's first furniture company listed on NASDAQ
At 16:00 on July 2, local time in New York, Dongguan Novartis Furniture Co., Ltd. officially held a listing ceremony at the NASDAQ Exchange Center, becoming the first Chinese furniture company to ring the bell on NASDAQ. On the same day, Novartis Group President Tawny Lam, CEO Wang Yaming, independent director Ren Chongcheng, marketing operations director Wang Yayun and other corporate executives all attended the roadshow and went to ring the bell.
As early as January 17, Novartis Furniture has been officially approved to trade in Nasdaq, and the stock price trend has been relatively satisfactory. Novartis Furniture is a Hong Kong-funded company that settled in Dongguan in 1991. Like many furniture companies in Dongguan, Novartis was once hit by the financial crisis, and then developed by leaps and bounds after switching to domestic brands.
