Rolling bearings require strict manufacturing precision and are highly technically specialized. Therefore, for most of the types of bearings that are easily available, it is more cost-effective to purchase than to repair. Bearings should only be considered under the following conditions: problem.
(1) Bearings used in ball mills are mainly in the form of wear on rolling surfaces, fatigue or fretting abrasion, and in particular, the damaged parts are mostly cages or rolling elements, and the rings or washers still have repairing value;
(2) Bearings failing or failing without significant damage to the parts, or expensive bearings must try to extend their effective service life;
(3) The bearing has slight damage, such as slight rust produced during inventory, and slight fretting abrasion during transportation. It is a pity that such a situation is easy to repair.
Bearing repair must not only consider its economic benefits, but also consider technical factors. The repairer fully understands the corresponding technical requirements of the bearing, and the characteristics of the bearing and its components in terms of structure, technology and materials, otherwise it is difficult to ensure that the bearing repair has the desired effect.
